Outdoor event – Warm clothing recommended.
Most appropriate hours/days – Whenever possible, it is advisable to visit the event during the week. Lines and waiting times tend to be longer on weekends and holidays.
Tickets – Entrance fees are applicable for everyone over 3 years of age. Working days tickets are valid for any day of the week except May 1st. Holidays and weekend tickets are valid on April 25, 26, May 1, 2 and 3.
Parking – There are 5 parking lots next to Óbidos, with capacity for more than 4000 vehicles.
Tourist Office – It is located next to the Main Parking Lot, about 200 meters from the main entrance of the Town of Óbidos.

Public Toilets / Changing Table for Babies – There are several public toilets scattered throughout the Town. The local place of the event also has WC. There is a changing table in the public toilets of the Solar da Praça de Santa Maria (Municipal Museum) and another in the Cerca do Castelo (inside the Event).
ATMs – There are 3 ATMs, near the Main Gate of the Town (Caixa de Crédito Agrícola Mútuo, Novo Banco and CGD). Inside the Historical Center, there are two ATMs: facing the entrance to the Municipal Museum of Óbidos (next to the Santa Maria Square) and in the Bookstore of the Biological Market. For reasons unrelated to the organization and due to an increasing number of visitors to Óbidos, during the events, we suggest that you come prepared, as the ATM machines are limited.
Animals Entry into the Festival – The entry of animals is authorized on condition that they respect with national legislation, to circulate in public spaces.
RULES OF THE INTERNATIONAL CHOCOLATE FESTIVAL
• Keep the areas clean.
• Pets are allowed if they respect the law in these cases (insurance, muzzles, leash, etc.)
• Do not walk on green spaces and do not pick plants and flowers.
• Respect the barriers in the scenography areas.
The non-compliance of the rules of the International Chocolate Festival can result in the expulsion of the visitor or even result in legal actions.
